Awesome tape mani

Another gloomy day here in Michigan, so I decided to give this mani I saw on Chloe's Nails. Behold:

This is 3 coats of Revlon Gumdrop with 2 coats of Sally Hansen DVD and 2 coats of SV. Mine does not look nearly as good, but you get the picture. I loooove this and I will definitely try it again. These colors reminded my that RBL is re-releasing Scrangie. Anyone else super geeked about it like I am? Now I will leave you with this:

Lippmann Collection - Across the Universe

This is a gorgeous polish. But you already knew that. This is two coats over CND Stickey, one coat of a dark navy (no name!) almost black Nina Ultra Pro and topped with two coats of Seche Vite. I have seen this on many blogs and had noticed a lot of tip shrinkage so I figured the dark blue would make my mani look fresh (and it did!).

So this is my first blog post ever. I absolutely love nail polish and I change it almost every day. In the real world, Everyone I know wears polish they can get at Meijer/Walgreens/CVS. This is my attempt to school them.

I am actually a steelworker. I am also a mom to 5 kids, a wife of an awesome husband, an avid book reader, and lover of all things beauty related.
